Kathryn Goodwin Gant will be telling us about her 20 years experience in sustainable farming and gardening. This now enables her to interact with, and educate kids, through Oklahoma City Harvest/OKC Beautiful. "We have the potential to positively impact thousands of children and their families each year by enabling school children to get their hands dirty and learn science, math, reading and more through experiences in the outdoor classroom. Bringing garden love to children, homeless youth and seniors is a joy for me, and I am honored to be able to do this work through the OKC Harvest program."

Monica Arndt is the owner and grower at Skyridge Farm, an herb nursery in NE Oklahoma County. She is a founding member of the Oklahoma City Herb Society. Monica has been a member of several different farmers markets over the past 25 years and attends a number of local festivals with her plants and handcrafted paper and other projects. Her plant inventory includes a large collection of scented geraniums, miniature roses, medicinal herbs, culinary herbs and her favorite ornamentals.
